EL VIDEO 9pm doors open
Since 2001 Copenhagen based El Video has elaborated from a zany ensemble of a bunch of bleeping plastictoys and some highschool friends, into a four-piece band playing accessible pop-music sliced up and reassembled as their own unique version of uptempo indie-rock, with noisy guitars and Casios and monosynths commemorating their initial musical starting point
Described in a few words, El Video is about making catchy and melodic tunes without catering to the mainstream market.
In Febuary 2005 El Video finished a master for a (yet to be released) album in collaboration with Hans Emil Hansen of Traening (dk) and Casper Hansen of Geisha (dk). Currently El Video is re-recording a singleversion of the album track - Galactic Gigolo which is scheduled to hit the danish airwaves in october. www.forum-polaris.net
